Wearing the short buckskin jacket and breed leggings typical of the region, the Taos trapper carries with him all the necessities for survival in the wilderness. Most of the gear is used in connection with his Southern Flintlock Rifle: a shooting bag, two powder horns, a small patch knife, powder measure, brush, pick and bullet board. A walking munitions factory, he also carries a ladle for pouring lead and a bullet mold. This is a wonderfully details sculpture that is sure to please.
